Chris Catford scoops silver for CCC at Midlands Tourism Oscars

Chris Catford receiving his Heart of England Excellence Award 2009 The team at Cotswold Conference Centre, Broadway are still celebrating after their success at this years ‘Excellence in Tourism Awards’ event on Thursday 29 October - better known as the ‘Tourism Oscars’.

The team were shortlisted for 3 awards – Sustainability, Customer Care & Business Tourism.

Assistant Operations Manager, Chris Catford won the Silver award for Outstanding Customer Care and explained: ‘The ICC in Birmingham was a fantastic venue for the awards dinner – it really felt like going to the Oscars. We were also delighted to receive Highly Commended in the Sustainability and Business Tourism categories”.

Cotswold Conference Centre is the only Conference Centre of Excellence in the Cotswolds and the first Worcestershire based business to become a member of the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
